A fresh spring morning in the woodland at the top of Lyme Regis to capture some images of a mother and her son.
One of my favourite spots in Lyme Regis is The Spittles, a woodland area just below the golf club. It’s particularly spectacular in April and May when it is full of bluebells, but I love it all year round.
As I’ve mentioned before, the key to a successful family photo shoot is to get the kids to relax, especially in an unfamiliar environment. That’s one of the reasons we chose this spot as most children love feeling as close to nature as you do in the woods. With so much to explore and ample space to run around, a woodland is a sure fire winner.
The little man was quickly at ease and we got some lovely candid images of him on his own as well as with his mum. I’ve picked out a selection from our time together below, please take a look.
